Bird Key / Lido Key / St. Armands

St. Armands Circle is renowned as a continental marketplace, on a beautiful tropical island, and located only one block away from beautiful Lido Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

The Circle is a charming and graceful synthesis of past and present. Relax and enjoy award winning restaurants, shop for trinkets and treasures, high fashion and home decor; from gourmet snacks to candlelight feasts, you'll find it all on St. Armands Circle.  St. Armands Circle was the vision of circus magnate John Ringling, who purchased the island in 1917.  He planned a luxury development including custom residences and upscale shopping on a roundabout. In 1926, amidst pomp and ceremony, the John Ringling Causeway and the John Ringling Estates opened to the public. Ringling's influence is evident today in the design of the streets radiating from the islands hub and the Italian Statuary from his personal collection.
